Repeat Prescriptions

From 2nd September 2019, practices in County Durham and the Tees Valley are being requested to no longer accept repeat prescription requests from pharmacies on behalf of patients. This change will only affect patients who have their medication ordered for them by their pharmacy or a dispensing company. It does not affect anyone who already orders their own repeat prescriptions directly from the practice.

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • By Hand – drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
  • By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we will post your prescription out to you.
  • Online – you need to come into the Practice to register for Systmonline Services.

Please allow two working days for prescriptions to be processed and ready for collection.
